HALIFAX, NS and CHICAGO – May 20, 2015 – Kinduct Technologies announced today a new collaboration with sports analytics powerhouse STATS LLC, the world’s leading sports technology, data and content company. Kinduct will integrate STATS’ suite of data and analytics products — including its industry-leading SportVU® real-time player tracking technology — into its Kinduct Performance product to provide teams and leagues with an extremely powerful solution that increases player performance and reduces the risk of injury.
Kinduct’s Performance management platform helps sports teams and organizations collect, organize, share and analyze data in one centralized platform, leading to informed decisions and powerful results for their athletes. As a result, teams can more quickly process information on a tablet, smart phone or handheld device. Kinduct’s software is the only source for teams to access league-wide player tracking data. The Kinduct Performance Management platform has also been integrated with STATS’ ICE platform which provides in-depth analysis of on-court performance data used for scouting and game-planning.
“We have been working very closely with the STATS team over the past six months to develop an integrated technology solution that we feel is unparalleled in the world of sport performance,” says Travis McDonough, Kinduct’s Founder and CEO. “We have successfully deployed our integrated platform with a number of teams in the NBA, four of which are still in the hunt for this year’s NBA Championship.”
Paul Robbins, STATS’ Director of Elite Performance, introduced the integrated solution at last week’s NBA Combine — a multi-day showcase in preparation for the annual June NBA draft, where college basketball players take physical measurements, participate in interviews, undergo drills, take medical tests, go through five-on-five drills and perform various athletic tests in front of NBA coaches, general managers and scouts.
“The marriage of STATS’ player tracking and analytics solutions with Kinduct’s athlete management applications and content has produced a unique and powerful offering for teams and leagues around the globe,” says Robbins. “It’s a very exciting time for our industry and our work with Kinduct is a prime example of how STATS continues to accelerate its pace of innovation to create truly game-changing sports analytics products and services.”
